Paediatric Feeding
& Mealtime Support
Feeding is one of the most complex skills your child learns. From early milk feeds through to family meals, it brings together breathing, swallowing, sensory processing, motor skills and postural stability, all developing and changing as they grow.
We provide support for:
Breast and bottle feeding
Transition to solids and introduction of first foods
Progression through textures (purees to family foods)
Paediatric dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)
Gagging, coughing, or choking at meals
Complex medical feeding needs, including tracheostomy management
Tube weaning and transition from tube to oral feeds
Oral motor feeding difficulties
Selective eating and limited food range
Mealtimes that feel stressful or overwhelming
Feeding is more than food, it's trust, comfort and connection. That is what we nurture.
Feeding and mealtimes can be supported in many ways; from gently weaving help into everyday mealtimes, to walking alongside families through more complex medical journeys, including tube feeding and dysphagia.
Our role is to bring clinical depth, share the right tools, and help you feel grounded in your own ability to support your child, whatever stage you're in.
